Transformers, Teaser Trailer
The teaser trailer and it's really a teaser, is now out on the official movie site.
Now I could really like this movie if it has the same dark tone as the trailer.

Rubberband Ball
For the people who know me at work, they know that I have a rubberband ball that I've worked on when I started work. But it is not close to the size of this ball in the movie!

Fantasia Festival 2006
Fantasia Festival in Montreal has now the list of movies showing during the month.
The festival shows less known movies from around the world. Mostly horror and kung fu movies, this festival is becoming a hit here in Montreal.
I'll be putting my list of movies that I'll be seeing this year soon. And I'll have reviews of them. I'll hopefully have pictures of the festival.
If it's your first time to the festival, here are some things you should know:
- If you plan on buying your tickets for the movie the same day... Good luck. The most popular movies are sold out even before the festival starts.
- When you arrive for the movie, don't come 10 minutes before, you'll be seating way in the back. General rule, 1 hour before, you get good seats if you are alone or with somebody else. 2 hours before if you are in a group. 3 hours before, well you'll probably the first one in.
- There are always a lot of movies to see and make sure not to buy tickets for two movies that play at the same time (There are two theaters showing movies for the festival).

X-Seed 4000
X-Seed 4000 is a proposed skyscraper that looks oddly like Mt. Fuji. Perhaps it’s unsurprising that it could be eventually built in Tokyo, Japan. The tallest building ever fully designed, the X-Seed 4000 would house between 500,000 and 1,000,000 people. A tiny quantity of individuals, if you take into account that the technology to “fabricate” mature adult individuals from raw materials is probably only a few decades away.
The X-Seed 4000, which would be 4,000 meters high (13,123.2 feet), would in fact be taller than Mt. Fuji, which is merely 3776 meters high (12,388 ft).

Chainless Bicycle
Now thats a great idea! How many times have you caught your pants in the chain? Or even get them dirty because of the oil on the chain.
Anyways, this is just a great invention and I'm amazed that no one though of it before hand!
US-based Dynacraft has introduced just such a beastie - the Dekra-D Drive bike has an internal drive shaft which offers less maintenance, greater safety and a cleaner solution than a conventional chain-driven bike by replacing the parts of the bike that cause the most problems and require the most maintenance - the chain and derailleur.
I found this at Gizmag

Blog: Flock
You might have noticed that some of my post are a bit different from the others. I've been using the beta version of Flock. A browser based on Firefox which is great for bloggers. I'm also going to change the way I present my posts... Gone are the links at the bottom of the post.
Pros
- It has a bar for your Flickr photos (you can upload to Flickr directly in the browser.
- Blogging software in the browser
- Snippets which is a bar at the bottom which you can drag and drop pretty much anything from a web page. You can even use tghese snippets to blog.
Cons
- It's in beta, so it's a bit unstable.
- Event if it's based on Firefox, you can't use Firefox extensions, they need to be modified.
- The favorites are quite different, you can't have any sub folders. Now I carry around a lot of favorites and I use sub folders quite often.
- Did I say that it's in beta?

Cool: Giant Crystals
These crystals are probably stable, as the temperature in the cave is over 150 degrees Fahrenheit with 100% humidity. In other words, these structures are enveloped in steam.
