Review: Unleashed
Well, tonight I decided to go see a movie and the only one that was playing at the time was "Unleashed". I've wanted to see this movie, maybe not at the theater but anyways.
I'll let you know right now, this is a good movie, very good. This movie is violent, when I was watching it, it reminded me of Ong-Bak. The hits look like they really hurt and you can actually imagine the pain they bring.
It's a touching story about a man that was brought up like an attack dog who then discovers what family and love really is. I loved Morgan Freeman in this movie, it's a perfect role for him, being a father and mentor to Jet Li's character. I have to say, Jet Li was quite good in this movie, in one seen, he actually uses puppy eyes to try and get his "master" to forgive him.
This movie surprised me, I was expecting a B movie instead I got an A movie. It's a shame as this movie will pass under the radar and a lot of people will not get the chance to see an original movie.
Verdict: A-
